The Smart Campus E-Waste Management System (SCEMS) is a mobile-based platform developed to improve sustainable e-waste management in higher education institutions. The system integrates four key features; digital e-waste disposal management, automated e-certificate rewards for staff KPI and student co-curricular participation, SDG/ESG sustainability monitoring and reporting, and a circular economy model through partnerships with licensed recyclers. Developed using the Prototype Model, SCEMS has achieved Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 3. Initial user evaluation indicates its potential to improve recycling participation, institutional sustainability performance, and digital transformation, with strong scalability across educational institutions and public organizations.
