Financial literacy is a fundamental competency introduced through the Standard 6 Mathematics syllabus; however, many pupils struggle to apply money concepts to real-life situations such as budgeting, saving, spending, and distinguishing between assets and liabilities. Conventional teaching approaches often result in low engagement and weak conceptual understanding. MoneyMath Gamification is an interactive learning innovation designed to address this challenge by integrating game-based mechanics with authentic financial scenarios. Pupils participate in engaging activities that classify, match, and apply money-related concepts, enabling them to organize knowledge, strengthen recall, and improve problem-solving skills while learning through play. The innovation also incorporates QR-code-enabled digital access, creating an accessible and enjoyable learning experience. Initial classroom feedback indicates improved conceptual understanding and higher student engagement after gameplay. Beyond enhancing mathematics achievement, MoneyMath Gamification promotes financial literacy, analytical thinking, and informed decision-making. The innovation supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 by advancing inclusive, technology-enhanced quality education while offering strong potential for commercialization as an interactive educational resource.
