Schools contain hazardous areas such as electrical rooms, sewage treatment zones, maintenance areas, damaged buildings, and teachers' parking spaces that should only be accessed by authorized personnel. Traffic congestion during school arrival and dismissal also increases accident risks, while teachers often waste time searching for parking. Existing safety measures mainly rely on warning signs and manual traffic control, which cannot effectively prevent unauthorized access or manage parking efficiently. The Smart Hazard Zone Safety Gate was developed as an integrated smart safety system to enhance school security by controlling access to hazardous areas and improving parking management.
