SmartGrowWrap is an eco-friendly, plantable bioplastic innovated by students of SJK(T) Ladang Mary. Made using tapioca starch, glycerin, vinegar, turmeric, and aloe vera gel, it serves as a biodegradable alternative to plastic. This flexible wrap is waterproof, self-healing, and embedded with seeds, allowing it to grow into plants after use. Turmeric acts as a natural spoilage indicator, adding a smart feature to the design. Developed through hands-on experimentation and testing, SmartGrowWrap aims to reduce plastic pollution, promote sustainable living, and educate students on environmental responsibility through creative and practical science innovation.
