The problem of inventory loss and shortage often occurs in cooperatives, stores and school laboratories. This situation makes it difficult for users to monitor the amount of goods still available accurately and systematically. If not addressed, this problem can result in wasted time, losses and delays in inventory management. To overcome this problem, the Smart Shelf project was developed. This project functions to monitor the amount of inventory stock automatically and more efficiently. This system helps users by detecting changes in the weight of goods and providing warnings when the stock is running low. This system uses a weight sensor and Arduino microcontroller to detect the amount of goods on the shelf. The detected data will be processed by the system to determine the current inventory stock balance more accurately. When the stock of goods decreases, the system will activate an LED light or buzzer as a warning sign to the user so that the stock can be added immediately. This automatic mechanism is used to ensure that inventory monitoring becomes easier, faster and more accurate. This project has advantages such as saving time and simplifying the inventory monitoring process. In addition, it can also increase the efficiency of stock management and reduce the risk of running out of goods. Overall, this innovation can help users manage inventory more systematically and technologically.
