SABAS 1.0 (Safe Awareness and Buddy Alert System) is an AI-powered system that assist schools to detect and prevent bullying at an early stage. Many students do not report bullying because they are afraid, embarrassed, or worried that others may find out. This makes it difficult for teachers to identify students who need help in this matter.
SABAS 1.0 solves this problem through three main modules, the Bullying Report Module allows students and teachers to send confidential bullying reports easily. While the Emotion Log module lets students record how they feel each day. Other than that, the AI Dashboard analyses the collected data to identify bullying trends, students' emotional well-being and possible high risk cases. This information helps teachers and school administrators take action earlier before problems become more critical.
The system also helps schools to understand where and when bullying is more likely to happen. By using AI and data analysis, schools can make better decisions to improve student safety and emotional well-being.
SABAS 1.0 encourages students to speak up, supports teachers in making faster decisions and creates a safer school environment. This project shows how Artificial Intelligence can be used in education to protect students and improve their well-being. It also supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
