SiLearn: Bridging Silence Through AI is an AI-powered mobile platform designed to eliminate communication barriers between Deaf and hearing communities by transforming sign language learning and interaction into an intelligent, accessible, and engaging digital experience. The platform integrates real-time Malaysian Sign Language recognition, AI-driven sign-to-text translation, interactive self-learning modules, skill validation, quizzes, and a trusted community knowledge hub within a unified ecosystem. Powered by computer vision, deep learning, TensorFlow Lite, and OpenCV, SiLearn provides instant feedback that enables users to learn and practice sign language effectively while fostering greater awareness and appreciation of Deaf culture. Unlike conventional applications that focus solely on translation or learning, SiLearn combines assistive artificial intelligence, inclusive education, and community engagement into a scalable solution that promotes equal communication opportunities for all. By empowering individuals, families, educators, and society to communicate more confidently with the Deaf community, SiLearn advances digital inclusion and social equity while supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities). As a human-centred AI innovation, SiLearn demonstrates how intelligent technology can bridge communication gaps, foster inclusive communities, and create lasting societal impact through accessible digital transformation.
