Human-wildlife conflicts are increasingly prevalent in Malaysia, leading to a significant rise in wildlife fatalities and extensive property damage. To address this issue, this project introduces "Wildlife Alert AI," an innovative and cost-effective system specifically designed to mitigate these human-wildlife conflicts and reduce associated safety risks. The proposed solution integrates the advanced use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and sensor technology to accurately detect the presence of wildlife. The system utilizes an AI-powered detection unit using sensors and powered by solar energy, designed to instantly identify animals and trigger real-time alerts to end-users. The system successfully demonstrates a highly cost-effective and reliable method for early warning, ensuring that real-time notifications are effectively transmitted to users the moment wildlife is detected in the vicinity. The potential impact of Wildlife Alert AI is substantial; offering a proactive and preventative approach to managing human-wildlife interactions, it serves as a practical tool that simultaneously solves pressing social and environmental problems. This project safeguards vulnerable wildlife populations while protecting human communities and their properties, paving the way for a more harmonious coexistence.
