SS60: EXPLORING THE POTENTIAL OF AGRICULTURAL RESIDUES AND RECYCLED PLASTICS IN COMPOSITE MATERIALS (ECO WOOD)

ROASAAN A/L SELVAKUMAR SMK SRI ANDALAS

ABOUT OUR PROJECT :

This project explores the potential of using agricultural residues, such as rice husks and coconut shells, alongside recycled plastics to create durable and eco-friendly composite materials for the construction and furniture Industries. By leveraging these waste products, we aim to reduce environmental pollution, promote sustainable resource management, and develop Innovative materials with superior mechanical and thermal properties. The successful implementation of this project could lead to significant advancements in sustainable manufacturing practices and a decrease in the reliance on traditional, non-renewable materials.

ABSTRACT :

Eco wood is a sustainable material made from renewable or recycled sources. It looks and works like regular wood but is better for the environment, reducing deforestation and carbon footprint. It's used in furniture and other products as an eco friendly alternative.
