This project involves the development of a mobile application using the MIT App Inventor platform to simulate a
modern and futuristic smart home system. As smart home technologies become more prevalent in everyday life,
this project aims to provide students with hands-on exposure to how such systems function. The app operates on
Android devices and introduces key features such as controlling lights and fans, monitoring temperature, locking
and unlocking doors virtually, and providing audio-visual notifications. It serves as a practical introduction to
automation, user interface design, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
