This study aims to provide exposure to weak students to improve their understanding of the human skeletal system and blood circulation through the use of the “BLOS 3S KIT” model. The model, named “BLOS 3S KIT”, was created to strengthen students’ understanding of topics related to the human skeletal and circulatory systems.
The participants of this study consisted of five Year 5 students from UPM. Data were collected and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively through questionnaires and interviews. The instruments used to collect data included PBD assessments, pre-tests, and questionnaires.
The findings of the study showed a positive improvement in students’ understanding. Based on the results of the questionnaires and interviews, students demonstrated greater interest and confidence after being exposed to the “BLOS 3S KIT” model. The findings also indicated that weak students were able to achieve a higher level of mastery in identifying the human skeletal and circulatory systems.
The “BLOS 3S KIT” model helps students to identify the human skeletal and circulatory systems and their functions. In addition, this model incorporates smart kit elements that can be accessed online at any time, aligning with the principles of 21st Century Learning (PAK-21).
