The Influence of Social Media on the Study Focus of Primary School Students

I conducted a survey among the students at my school.

With the support of my parents, I created a Google Form and survey. The headmaster and classroom teacher kindly assisted in distributing the form through the school’s official WhatsApp group.

This study examines how social media affects the focus and study habits of primary school students. While platforms like YouTube and TikTok can provide useful educational content, excessive use often leads to distraction, reduced attention span, and poor time management.

The research also highlights strategies to overcome these issues, such as setting screen time limits, using parental controls, promoting balanced study schedules, and encouraging the use of social media for educational purposes.
