The Microb World application is an Android-based educational tool developed to support students in understanding microorganisms in a simple, visual, and interactive way. Microbes are often considered difficult to learn because textbook explanations are too scientific and filled with technical terms. This creates challenges for students who only memorise facts without truly understanding the roles, benefits, and dangers of microbes.

To address this issue, the Microb World app provides several main screens: Definition Screen (explanation of microbes, their characteristics, benefits, and harms), Category Screen (five categories – Bacteria, Virus, Fungi, Algae, and Protozoa – each with images and further details when clicked), as well as supporting screens such as Media (YouTube videos), Quiz (interactive assessments), Chat Bot (AI-based Q&A support), and About Us.

This innovation positively impacts students by making science more engaging and understandable, strengthening their knowledge of microorganisms, and encouraging independent learning through multimedia and interactive features. It also demonstrates how digital applications can be used effectively to enhance science education in schools.
