Virtual Booth

This project focuses on the formulation of a handmade soap through the repurposing of domestic biowaste into a value-added product. Eggshells and used cooking oil, commonly discarded in households, were utilized as sustainable raw materials. Finely ground eggshell powder provides mild exfoliation, while lemongrass extract contributes natural antibacterial properties, and butterfly pea flower supplies antioxidant activity. The resulting soap is safe, natural, and suitable for daily use. This study highlights how simple scientific techniques can transform household biowaste into eco-friendly personal care products, thereby reducing waste and promoting environmental sustainability.
