Thirst Guard is a smart hydration reminder system built on the Arduino platform, designed to encourage individuals especially students to maintain adequate water intake throughout the day. Utilizing an Arduino microcontroller, the device integrates sensors and programmable timers to monitor hydration intervals and deliver timely reminders through visual (LED indicators) and auditory (buzzer) alerts. The compact and low-power design makes it suitable for daily use, seamlessly fitting into busy schedules where water consumption is often overlooked. By promoting consistent hydration, Thirst Guard helps prevent dehydration-related issues such as fatigue, reduced focus, and impaired cognitive function. This project demonstrates how affordable, open-source electronics can be leveraged to foster healthier habits, combining technology with wellness in a practical and user-friendly solution.
