Vertical Emergency Triangle (VET) aims to improve road safety by addressing the limitations of traditional emergency triangles, particularly low visibility and incorrect placement, which often lead to roadside accidents. The main objective is to develop a functional emergency signal device that enhances roadside safety through better visibility and proper usage. The research employed secondary data from journals highlighting improper placement of warning triangles as a prevalent safety risk. This data underscored the need for an improved solution, leading to the creation of the product. VET incorporates features such as adjustable height, a lighted arrow, and a 50-meter measurement guide to ensure proper setup. It is constructed from durable materials; it is foldable and portable for easy use. Key findings from a SWOT analysis reveal strengths in high visibility and weaknesses related to its weight. Feedback from around 200 respondents showed 83% satisfaction with VET’s functionality, indicating strong user approval. VET demonstrates significant potential to reduce roadside accidents by promoting correct placement and enhanced visibility, providing a safer tool for emergencies. In conclusion, the product successfully achieves its objectives, offering a practical and impactful solution to improve roadside safety and foster safer driving practices in diverse environments.
